Profile & Security
Manage your personal account settings from the Settings page. The settings page is organized into tabs, each accessible from a sidebar navigation.
Accessing Settings
Click your user avatar in the top-right corner of the dashboard and select Settings, or navigate directly to the Settings page.
Profile Tab
Update your personal information:
- First Name & Last Name — Your display name
- Username — A unique identifier (editable, must be unique across the platform)
- Email — Your account email (changing email triggers re-verification)
- Avatar — Upload a profile photo
- Bio — Short description (optional)
Security Tab
Manage your account security:
Change Password
Update your current password by providing your existing password and a new one.
Two-Factor Authentication (TOTP)
Protect your account with time-based one-time passwords:
- Click Enable 2FA in the Security tab
- A QR code is displayed — scan it with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
- The secret key is also shown for manual entry
- Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app to verify and activate
- Once enabled, you’ll need to enter a TOTP code at every login
A status badge shows whether 2FA is currently enabled (green) or not enabled (warning). You can disable 2FA at any time from the same section.
Store your TOTP secret key or backup codes in a safe place. If you lose access to your authenticator app, you’ll need to contact support to regain account access.
Display Tab
Customize your visual preferences:
- Theme — Switch between Light and Dark mode (also available via the theme toggle in the top bar)
Configure how numbers and dates appear throughout the platform:
Choose your preferred number formatting style with live preview:

Decimal Places
Select how many decimal places to display: 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4.

Formatting preferences are saved to your account and applied globally across the entire dashboard. A live preview updates as you change settings so you can see the result before saving.
Language Tab
Set your preferred language for the entire interface. Eyesotope supports 6 languages:

Units Tab
Configure measurement preferences:
- Area Units — Hectares, acres, or square meters
- Temperature — Celsius or Fahrenheit
- Currency — Your preferred currency for contracts and financial data
App Settings Tab
Configure application behavior:
- Toggle the floating Quick Add button on/off
- Configure shortcuts — Choose which quick actions appear in the menu (Batch Operations, Apply Inputs, Add Delivery)
- Only shortcuts for modules you have access to are shown
